Unit overview
Description
A clean one-trip 20 ft steel container: about as close to new as a container gets, with straight panels, tight door seals and very little wear. It is wind and watertight and cargo-worthy, so it works for export shipping or for secure on-site storage at a farm, jobsite or business. Price is at the depot. Delivery by tilt-bed truck is quoted by ZIP code: allow about 75 ft of straight clearance for a 20 ft unit and 120 ft for a 40 ft unit. Sold for shipping and storage use. Photos are representative of the grade; units vary in color and markings.

FAQ
Buying shipping containers: your questions.
Don’t see your question? Call, text or email and we will get back to you the same business day.
Ask our teamWhat do one-trip, cargo-worthy and wind & watertight mean?
One-trip containers have made a single ocean voyage and are close to new. Cargo-worthy containers are used but still fit to carry freight by sea. Wind & watertight containers are used, have no holes and keep the weather out, but are meant for storage on land rather than shipping.
What are the sizes?
Outside dimensions are about 10 x 8 x 8.5 ft for a 10 ft container, 20 x 8 x 8.5 ft for a 20 ft and 40 x 8 x 8.5 ft for a 40 ft. A 40 ft high cube is a foot taller at 9.5 ft, which suits tall items and shelving.
How much room does delivery need?
Most containers arrive on a tilt-bed truck that slides them off at your site. As a rule of thumb, allow about 100 ft of straight, clear access for a 20 ft container and about 150 ft for a 40 ft, with roughly 12 ft of width and 14 ft of overhead clearance. We confirm what your site needs with the quote.
How should I prepare the ground?
Choose firm, level ground. Gravel, concrete or blocks and railroad ties under the four corners keep the floor off wet soil and help the doors open and close smoothly.
Can I choose the color?
Used containers come in the shipping line’s colors, most often gray, beige, blue or brown. Tell us your preference when you ask for a quote and we will tell you which units match.
Can I see the actual container before I buy?
Yes. Ask for photos or a short video of the exact unit, including the doors, floor and roof, before you commit.
